VAN Awards
Each year VAN recognizes a volunteer manager and a for-profit organization that exemplify professional excellence and commitment to the community.
The VAN Award of Excellence recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions to the profession of volunteer administration and the promotion of volunteerism. The VAN Corporate Volunteer Champion Award dedicated to recognizing for-profit organizations of any size that promote, recognize and are committed to employee volunteerism.
The Mary Merrill Award of Excellence recipient will receive a $100 VAN gift certificate towards continuing education, a one-year membership to VAN, registration to VAN’s annual fall conference and an invitation to be a part of the judging panel the following year.
In addition to the Mary Merrill Award of Excellence, VAN is proud to have a second award that is designed to recognize for-profit organizations of any size that promote, recognize and are committed to employee volunteerism. The Corporate Volunteer Champion Award is presented to an organization that has positively impacted its community through the contributions, time and talent of its employees and associates.
