Ethics in Volunteerism: Standards and Practices that Are Often Overlooked
Join Huntington Bank Volunteer Coordinator, Steven Fields, as he discusses trends in volunteer practices and guidelines that are occurring in today's
 environment. This presentation will include sample guidelines, real world scenarios and open discussion to further explore ethical standards in volunteerism.
 
Steven Fields is an Assistant Vice President and corporate relations specialist for Huntington Bank. He previously worked as a skills coach/trainer in the Customer Care and Centralized Reconcilements area of Huntington. He is responsible for leading the volunteer and in-kind donation efforts for Central Ohio community organizations.
 
Mr. Fields received a bachelor's degree in animal science from The Ohio State University, and a master's degree in marketing and communications from Franklin University. Before joining Huntington, he was a faculty member of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in youth development. As a member of Charity Newsies, he serves in a variety of capacities, including the corporate, public relations, and auction and gala committees. Fields currently serves as an executive board member of the Simon Kenton Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition to his involvement with Youth Advocate Services, Fields serves as the social programs chair of the National Kidney Foundation of Ohio's Young Professional's Exchange. He and his wife Amy reside in Gahanna, Ohio with their infant son Jeffrey.
