Do you know where to find new job postings on the VAN web
site? Curious to know VAN’s financial
standing? Want to connect with fellow
VAN members but don’t know where to find their contact information? Julie Ann Spain, VAN Board Web Coordinator,
will briefly highlight the VAN web site and teach you how to navigate your way through
it. Following Julie Ann’s presentation,
we will break into small groups for networking roundtables. Discussion will focus on difficult
conversations Volunteer Administrators often have to have with volunteers. Learn from your colleagues some tips and
strategies on dealing with rejecting or terminating a volunteer, confronting
challenging behaviors, and other “sticky” situations. Bring your own examples and questions to
share with the group. Then, stick around
for a PIZZA LUNCH at 11:00!
